Clubs & Organizations

Photo of Activity DayUnder the umbrella of the Student Government Association, MCC offers a wide variety of clubs and organizations to help meet students needs and interests.

MCC has over 50 chartered clubs and organizations for students to experience. Academic, cultural, recreational, religious, special interest and professional and honor societies make up the selection available.

Club and organization mailboxes are located in the Photo ID/Student E-mail Office, Building 3, Room 139A. If you are interested in joining one of these groups, you can leave a note in the mailbox of the group you are interested in, and someone from the group will contact you. Many of these groups have offices that you can visit as well, or you can attend one of their meetings. Stop by the Campus Center Office, 3-126, for information on office locations and meeting times and places.

If you don't find something to fit your interests, you can always start a new club! Find other students who share your interests, then make an appointment with the Assistant Director of the Campus Center who will help get you started.

One of the first steps in establishing a new club is the creation of your very own constitution, which is the basic guidelines for operating your club.  For more information can also stop by the Student Government Office.

Joining a club or organization provides you with the opportunity to explore your interests, meet people, and develop valuable leadership and organizational skills while you have some fun along the way.
